Join the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education and the Georgia Chamber of Commerce to discuss how COVID-19 and the related economic collapse has challenged our workforce pipeline and how we, Georgia, should respond. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Anthony Carnevale (Georgetown University) will be outlining the systemic changes that must be made to meet the changing workforce landscape, particularly the alignment of K-12, post-secondary systems, and the business community as well as structural changes to who has access to post-secondary degrees. Dr. Carnevale will be followed by a panel on the workforce, moderated by Chris Clark (Georgia Chamber of Commerce) and a panel on public education, moderated by Tina Fernandez (Achieve Atlanta). Additional panelists include:
Eric Cuevas, Senior Director, Student Success Programs, Georgia State University
Greg Dozier, Commissioner, TCSG
Melanie McClellan, Director, Carrollton-Carroll County Education Collaborative
David Moody, President & CEO, CD Moody Construction
Noris Price, Superintendent, Baldwin County Schools
