Dear Colleague:
Registration continues for our first Critical Issues Forum of 2016. If you have not already registered, plan to join us as we look closer at an issue that often gets overlooked – how does health and wellness impact student achievement outcomes? The latest Kids Count Data ranks Georgia 37th among states for child well being. There is work to be done.
We have put together a powerful program that will include Commissioner Bobby Cagle, Georgia Department of Human Resources; Rep. Rick Jasperse, member of the Health and Human Services Committee; Garry McGiboney, Associate Superintendent Policy, External Affairs and Charter, Georgia DOE; Emily Pelton, Executive Director, Voices for Georgia’s Children; and Kim Anderson, Families First.
WHEN: Thursday, April 28, 10 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
WHERE: Georgia-Pacific Auditorium, 133 Peachtree St., NE, Atlanta 30303
HOW: Here are more details. Click here to register.
The Critical Issues Forums are always free and open to the public. Please pass this notice on to associates who might be interested. We look forward to seeing you April 28.
