Working under the premise that too few Georgians possess the credentials needed for good jobs and a competitive economy, the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education is working to recruit more high school graduates, especially low-income, to enroll in college. The grants have been awarded to several local Chambers of Commerce that are interested in helping make college enrollment and completion more attainable.
