Dear Council Member:
The December issue of Georgia Trend magazine is out and includes a story on the Opportunity School District which will be a topic of discussion as Georgia voters will be asked to cast their ballots for/against in November. The story has a decided Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education flavor.
Editor-At-Large Susan Percy interviewed both President Steve Dolinger and Policy and Research Director Dana Rickman in September. Several of their thoughts/comments are featured. Steve’s photo graces the story layout. Georgia Partnership Board member Valarie Wilson, Georgia School Boards Association executive director, is also included in the comprehensive article that looks at the pros, cons and relating key discussion points.
