Most Influential – Funders

Dear Colleague:

The inaugural 2016 issue of Georgia Trend magazine is out and as tradition has it, they have named their “100 Most Influential Georgians” list for the new year.  Also as tradition dictates, the Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education has Board members on this distinguished list.

Join me in congratulating Rep. Stacey Abrams, House Minority Leader; Chris Clark,President, Georgia Chamber of Commerce; Shan Cooper, VP and General Manager, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Co.; Gretchen Corbin, Commissioner, Technical College System of Georgia; and Hank Huckaby, Chancellor, Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia for being recognized for their many contributions to the state.  Former Board Chair Paul Bowers,  President, Chairman and CEO of Georgia Power, is also on the list.

The Georgia Partnership also has three Board members on the magazine’s “Most Notables” list.  Congratulations to Robert Brown, President and CEO, RL Brown and Associates, and Ann Cramer, Senior Consultant, Coxe Curry and Associates for being named.  President Steve Dolinger is also included this year.

This is another indicator of the quality of leadership this organization has enjoyed through the years.  We will celebrate our 25th anniversary next year and a big reason of our consistent success is the many contributions of our Board.

Congratulations again to the honorees and thank you to all our Board members for your many continuing contributions.  All of us here wish you a happy and prosperous new year!
